Finally... a snow day!

While many of you had been snowed in for days, and were probably ready to get out, we were so excited to see some of the winter weather that blew through Texas. Andy and Owen went out to make snow angels while Kendal and I watched from a window. It was beautiful and Owen would have stayed out there all day if I would have let him. Notice his snow suit we bought him last January is a little short this year... but it's all we had ;) LOL! That sure wasn't going to stop him from going outside.

Kendal at 4 months

Kendal hit the four month mark on 1/27 and we went for her check up about 10 days ago. She weighed 15 lb 8oz and is 25 1/2" long. This put her at 75% on weight and 75-90% on height! Still my big girl! She is such a happy baby and likes to talk to us A LOT! Owen still just loves her to pieces and every morning when he leaves he tells her to "be a good girl for mommy." So sweet! He is so funny b/c he is trying to figure out this whole relationship thing. One day he is her brother, the next her uncle or even her "cousint". It is funny to see what he will be next but we keep telling him she will always be his sister and he will always be her brother. They are so precious!

Sweet Dreams

I put my sweet baby girl to bed in her room last night for the first time. I have had her in a bassinett in our room since we brought her home and I was having a hard time thinking about her being so far away. I asked Andy to move her crib to our room but he didn't like that idea ;) She is totally filling out the bassinett with only two inches left between her head and the top so it was definitely time! Welll...It was tough but with the help of a video monitor and angel care monitor I was able to do it! (by the way... everyone should of one of each of these monitors!! Thanks to Scott and Liz for our Angel Care monitor!) Kendal slept great (9 to 4:15!) and I am sure I will sleep better tonight after the first night behind me.

I also have to share mine and Owen's Thanksgiving "football" apple pie :) It was delicious!!! (If I don't say so myself) HA! Owen was so excited to finally use the cookie cutters.
